As head of Project, you are responsible for coordinating, overseeing, scheduling, planning and supervising of purchases, production and site management. Manage development and design projects with the goal of delivering products that exceed customers’ requirement.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Schedule Management:
- Create and maintain project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Coordinate activities, resources, and timelines to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and adjustments as necessary.
- Document Control:
- Establish and maintain document control procedures for project documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, reports).
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage document distribution, tracking revisions, and maintaining document version control.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project progress and gather feedback.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, SharePoint).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
Ability to travel occasionally and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Professional Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the power systems industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
