Job description

My client is a Digital Bank in Singapore and we are looking for a passionate seasoned professional to be their Head of Process Management, who will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change, optimizing business processes, and leading digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement strategies, and drive measurable results. This role reports to the CTO of the bank.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects focused on transforming business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering innovation within the organization.
  • Apply business process engineering techniques to analyze, redesign, and optimize crucial processes across various departments, such as KYC processes, payment operations, risk management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies, initiate projects, and work closely with the product development and engineering teams to implement solutions.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support adopting new processes, technologies, and digital solutions across the organization.
  • Partner with IT teams to utilize technology solutions and automation tools in support of process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assist various departments in resource capacity planning to ensure optimal use of human resources and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for digitization and automation to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on project performance metrics, such as KPIs, ROI, and other key success indicators, to evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product and solution teams to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in banking, finance, and digital transformation, fostering continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, BPM) are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates over 5 years of experience in project management, business process engineering, and digital transformation, particularly within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Has a strong understanding of business process engineering methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, BPMN, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex transformation projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Analytical thinker with a keen ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills in English & Mandarin to communicate with overseas stakeholders.
