Head of PR and Communications

Our client is a growing financial platform that specializes in investing for their global customers, with a great reputation and an amazing story behind their success. They are looking for a Head of Public Relations and Communications to join their Singapore team. As a key member of the team, the focus of this role is the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies, media relations, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for the business.
2. Secure media placements in top-tier publications, both locally and regionally.
3. Manage corporate and brand communications to ensure the company brand remains strong.
4. Work with the senior leadership team on public appearances, speeches, and events.
5. Write press releases and manage media inquiries.
6. Oversee external and internal communications.
7. Stay current on industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

1. 7-8+ years of PR experience, with a strong background in a PR agency or in-house; start-up experience is ideal.
2. An interest in personal finance and investment is important.
3. Strong network within local and regional media – media relations is essential for the role.
4. Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. A willingness to be hands-on across both strategy and execution, building relationships with the media and executing campaigns.
7. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
