Oversee day-to-day operations of the financial institution to ensure smooth execution.
Verify and approve daily transactions, including account openings, fund transfers, remittances, trade finance, loan operations, and treasury settlements.
Manage operational functions such as deposits, remittances, trade finance, and loan facilities to ensure compliance with bank policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Continuously improve operational efficiency to align with business growth goals. Supervise all employees in the Operations department and ensure their actions contribute to the strategic objectives of the organization.
Supervise account operations and ensure accurate maintenance of accounting processes.
Evaluate and optimize operational processes and policies to support departmental objectives.
Make informed decisions and provide solutions to operational challenges.
Represent the bank professionally, maintaining relationships with correspondent banks.
Collaborate with Business Units for document preparation and review.
Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager regarding operations and control matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification in banking and accounting from a reputable institution;
A minimum of 15 years' experience in banking operations;
Proven leadership and people management skills, along with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm;
Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues in Taiwan.
