Job Summary:

The Head of IT provides strategic and operational leadership, proactively managing all IT functions. This role drives the alignment of IT strategies with organizational objectives through effective planning, large-scale application management, and ensuring secure, high-performing systems. Collaborative partnerships across departments are essential for efficient system integration and delivering comprehensive end-user support

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives to support business growth and operational excellence
  • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and with appropriate resource allocation
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and alignment with organizational priorities
  • Oversee IT department performance, providing coaching, development, and performance evaluations

IT Strategy & Planning

  • Design and execute an IT roadmap that aligns with business goals and financial objectives
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve business processes and enhance technology capabilities
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of IT initiatives, ensuring that projects are aligned with both technical and business priorities

Technology & Systems Oversight

  • Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability
  • Manage large-scale applications and integrations, ensuring cross-functional and cross-application connectivity to streamline business operations
  • Work closely with departments to deliver technology solutions that meet both operational and business needs

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system failures
  • Develop and enforce IT security protocols and risk management strategies to protect the organization’s infrastructure and data
  • Ensure compliance with data security regulations, industry standards, and operation compliance

Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Lead IT strategy communication with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on IT performance, initiatives, and challenges
  • Act as the central point of contact for all IT-related matters, ensuring smooth and effective communication across departments

Financial Systems & Integration

  • Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with enterprise applications, optimizing workflows
  • Implement and maintain systems supporting invoice, billing, and related matters

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated about technological advancements and propose innovative solutions that drive business improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business needs
  • Encourage innovation within the IT team and the broader organization to remain competitive and efficient

Implement Strategic End-User Support & Related Functions

  • Develop and implement a strategic end-user support framework
  • Ensure high-quality, responsive technical support to resolve end-user issues quickly and effectively
  • Drive end-user satisfaction through proactive support, efficient issue resolution, and clear communication

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in senior IT management, including overseeing large-scale applications, system integration, and strategic IT planning
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, operations, and IT security best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills, with a track record of managing complex IT projects and delivering innovative technology solutions
  • Solid knowledge of systems engineering, and an understanding of engineering interdependencies and complexities
  • Familiarity with emerging digital technologies, including Cloud Computing and Data Analytics
  • Experience in a digital marketing agency environment is a plus
