We are seeking a seasoned Head of HR & Admin to lead and inspire our HR and Admin teams across Singapore and Indonesia. This role reports directly to the Regional Head of HR and indirectly to the MD, making it a unique and pivotal position within our organization. We're looking for a strategic, results-driven leader who can align HR strategies with our business goals, foster a high-performance culture, and enhance employee engagement and operational excellence.

Team Size: 3 direct reports; oversight of teams in both locations
Overview
The Head of HR & Admin leads the HR function for Singapore and Indonesia, aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The role encompasses recruitment, employee lifecycle management, training, compliance, office administration, and ensuring adherence to local laws and corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Implement local HR strategies that align with global objectives.
- Establish HR department accountabilities including talent acquisition, training, benefits, career development, and succession planning.
- Forecast labor costs and other HR requirements to support business growth.
- Drive organizational design initiatives to sustain a High-Performance Organization (HPO).
- Operational Management
- Lead an integrated HR and Admin team in Singapore and oversee the HR team in Indonesia.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Ensure effective implementation of health, wellness, safety, and office management programs.
- Serve as a business partner for internal stakeholders, promoting customer and partner orientation.
- Enhance employer branding and employee retention through targeted initiatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Maintain compliance with local laws and internal policies.
- Work with regional HR functions to align local practices with global standards.
- Oversee safety and occupational health measures.
- Transformation and Change Management
- Facilitate organizational and cultural transformation to uphold a high-performance culture.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Leadership and Talent Development
- Provide strategic HR support to management, identifying and nurturing talent across entities.
- Motivate and mentor teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

- Manage HR and organizational projects, ensuring timely and efficient outcomes.
- Professional Development
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments through conferences and continued learning.
Key Interactions
Internal Interfaces: Sales/business associates, Regional Internal Audit, Tax/Treasury, IT, Financial Services, and other regional teams.
External Interfaces: Recruitment agencies, payroll and tax advisors, HR consultants, training vendors, local regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in managerial HR roles within multinational environments, with experience in the automotive, financial, or mobility sectors preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and change management skills. Ability to work across cultures and lead distributed teams effectively.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, resilient, forward-thinking, capable of operative and strategic work, and adept at motivating teams.
