Job description

Human Resources

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and Bank’s values.
  • Plan, coordinate and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the complete payroll cycle ensuring accurate and timely processing of wages, bonuses, incentives, claims, and deductions.
  • Manage all personnel matters, including employee welfare, attendance, leaves, discipline, benefits and compensation, training, claims, and other HR administration functions.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates, including working with selected Recruiters.
  • Develop, review, and maintain the HR policies and procedures, Employee Handbook, and all HR forms/documents of the company to ensure that it meets the requirements of Employment Law.
  • Manage employee relations issues and address employee concerns and grievances, providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues.

Administration

  • Oversee overall general administration affairs of the Branch, including planning and coordinating administration procedures.
  • Oversee facilities services and maintenance, including renovation and improvement works. Responsible for management of office equipment and fixtures.
  • Responsible for management of general affairs contracts and monitoring of general affairs costs, including but not limited to contracts on maintenance, office rental, corporate insurance, and procurement.
  • Oversee general affairs, including stationery orders, office supplies, mail management, Head Office/SG Branch memo dissemination, and visitors management.
  • Organize Branch Management meetings.
  • Assist CEO on HR and general administration matters as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline preferred.
  • More than 10 years of HR Generalist and administration experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Banking or financial industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local employment law, compliance requirements, and industry best practices are highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, confidence, and maturity to interact effectively with stakeholders and all levels of staff within the organization and within our Taiwan Head Office.
