Our client has established its presence in the Commodity Trading industry for 20 years in Singapore, currently located in the heart of the CBD area, and seeks a Head of Finance to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Senior Management, the incumbent will manage the finance team in Singapore and China, with a team of up to 20 staff. He/She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations (management & financial reporting) and will be involved in strategic finance planning (budgeting, forecasting, risk management, business partnering, etc.). Additionally, he/she will need to establish and develop relationships with senior business stakeholders, external partners, and the executive management team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or ACCA equivalent from a reputable university
• Post-graduate qualifications such as CA, CPA, and Masters would be advantageous
• At least 10 years of working experience in the Financial Institution / Commodity Trading industry, with 4 years of audit experience preferably in a Big4 Audit Firm
• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in leading/managing a team of at least 5 staff
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to facilitate communication and collaboration with Chinese counterparties and business partners who are based in China.
