Oversee the conceptualization of events that engage key stakeholders, foster partnerships, and drive organizational impact.
2. Stakeholder Management & Partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, NGOs, and international organizations, to drive successful event partnerships.
Identify and secure strategic collaborations to enhance event visibility, expand networks, and align with company objectives.
Represent the company at key events, forums, and conferences, strengthening external partnerships and increasing brand awareness.
3. Event Execution & Logistics
Oversee the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring high standards of quality and seamless logistical operations.
Manage event teams and collaborate with internal and external vendors to ensure all aspects of event production are handled efficiently.
Ensure events are aligned with company branding, messaging, and communication objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and protocols during the planning and execution of events.
4. Budget Management & Resource Allocation
Manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality event execution.
Develop cost-effective solutions for event production, vendor selection, and logistics.
Continuously monitor and report on event performance, providing recommendations for future improvements.
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of event professionals, ensuring continuous development and high performance.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the event team, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
Provide strategic guidance and support to team members, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects and ongoing professional development.
6. Evaluation & Reporting
Oversee post-event evaluations, gathering insights and feedback to assess event success and areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on event outcomes for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Continuously improve event processes based on performance evaluations, attendee feedback, and industry best practices.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in event management, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership level, preferably in the context of government, NPO, NGO, or international organization events.
Proven experience in managing large-scale, high-level events that involve key external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of government, NPO, NGO, and international organizations’ operational frameworks and their event needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage complex projects, including logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines.
Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships and driving collaboration across diverse groups.
