What The Day Will Look Like

As a global leader, we give you the reins to enhance Aon's brand visibility and audience engagement to optimize our presence in the digital world. As you oversee website management and plan and launch digital and social media campaigns, you'll coordinate with regional teams for localized content to align with the overall marketing strategy.


Responsibilities

A critical part of the role is to ensure data-driven decision-making and supervise search engine optimization and management (SEO, SEM) efforts to improve online visibility. Along with that comes maintaining relationships with digital agencies to ensure brand integrity and alignment with business goals. All told, you'll innovate and implement digital marketing technologies to maintain a competitive edge (e.g., social, paid media, affinity channels). Additional responsibilities include:


  1. Collaboration with the Global Head of Marketing to integrate digital campaigns into the global and regional strategies.
  2. Partnership with IT to ensure proper management of website and MarTech stack optimization.
  3. Collaboration with regional marketing teams to tailor digital content to local markets while maintaining global standards.
  4. Partnering with product teams to develop digital strategies that support product launches and campaigns.
  5. Overseeing digital performance analytics, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Guiding the integration of CRM systems with digital marketing efforts to enhance customer engagement.
  7. Work in collaboration with Regional CMOs, Risk Capital and Human Capital Marketing Strategy Leads on digital campaigns activation.

How This Opportunity Is Different

Own the global digital marketing strategy and its implementation, crafting a runway to manage and influence global marketing decisions, relevant MarTech tools to support marketing objectives and influence data privacy and security compliance in online marketing practices. Plus, the team will count on you to offer strategic feedback on the alignment of e-marketing with broader marketing initiatives.


Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

Capabilities such as critical thinking, hands-on leadership of high-performing teams and ability to influence, paired with experience with marketing automation and programmatic digital platforms, are essential to effective collaboration. Our teams partner across geographies and fields; the ability to develop strategies, lead campaigns and establish relationships internally and externally guide our success. Additional important experience includes:


  1. 15 years + experience and demonstrated record of success in digital marketing in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B environment.
  2. A passion for the power of data and dexterity in taking many data sources, interpreting them and understanding the logical next steps.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to confidently challenge constructively at all levels, including senior management.

Education

Degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent experience a plus.
