Your Next Role

We are looking for a leadership-level Design expert to guide and mentor our in-house team of 4 Senior Designers. This position will allow you to drive creative innovation, enhance performance, and elevate the quality of output across all projects.

You’ll take ownership of developing processes and strategies that ensure seamless project execution, in line with our brand and product goals. Collaborating closely with the Copy Chief, Head of Video, Head of Growth, and other cross-functional leaders, you will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs, as well as overseeing the development of creative production tools and ideation frameworks.

This is a key leadership opportunity to influence our creative direction, ensuring our teams deliver outstanding results while pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity.

What You’ll do

Performance Management

  • Oversee and manage up to 7 creative projects or growth campaigns alongside the Head of Growth to ensure consistent performance and milestone achievement.
  • Analyze campaign results to identify gaps, collaborating with Senior Designers to develop hypotheses and briefs focused on improving formats, concepts, and visual hooks using performance data.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback to optimize workflows and enhance the quality of creative output.
  • Track, implement, and modify production processes to ensure a smooth transition from product launch to scaling, aligning objectives with the Head of Growth on key metrics like ROAS and revenue goals.
  • Provide regular performance updates to key stakeholders, including the Head of Growth, Head of Videos, Copy Chief, and other department leads on campaign performance and team progress.

Process/SOP Creation & Optimization

  • Design and implement visual boards that emphasize essential principles like audience targeting, replicating organic content styles, and crafting compelling visual narratives.
  • Improve message delivery and scalability by creating processes and SOPs that guide the design of high-performing, adaptable creatives across multiple platforms.

Creative Team Mentoring & Upskilling

  • Analyze team capabilities and identify areas for improvement to enhance creative output in terms of quality, speed, and volume.
  • Create ideation frameworks to address common challenges like format blindness and ensure message and creative congruence through these frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create training videos and materials for knowledge-sharing, focusing on building winning campaigns.

Team Management & Scaling

  • Management of 4 experienced designers direct reports across different locations, both in our SG HQ and remote locations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) to attract, assess, and hire creative talent who align with company culture and possess the necessary skill sets.
  • Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring that new hires meet project expectations within their first 30 to 90 days.
  • Lead the development of foundational training modules for onboarding and ongoing skill development.

Compliance & Secondary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure all advertising materials meet compliance standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline the creative process, including optimizing documentation, workflows, and templates.
  • Align creative development with broader business functions, ensuring consistent communication and persuasive messaging across all outputs, including brand assets like photography, product/label design, and social media.

Speed of Product Scaling Cycles

  • Guide the creative team to meet growth OKRs across multiple SKUs, collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Provide strategic advice and coaching to Senior Designers, establishing key processes that drive performance and exceed expectations.

Creative Performance

  • Elevate the quality, speed, and volume of high-performing creative assets, with defined OKRs focused on engagement and scalability.
  • Develop creatives that drive strong engagement metrics such as shares, CTRs, and CVR rates, ensuring they can scale effectively across campaigns.

Team Performance

  • Scale the team productivity & efficiency, while ensuring all your direct reports are meeting their individual KPIs

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in creative direction with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role, ideally within the health (supplements / wellness), beauty (hair/skin care), or direct response/DTC/eCommerce space.
  • Proven track record of launching successful campaigns generating 8-9 figure revenues, with a focus on viral, conversion-driven creatives across multiple channels.
  • Expertise in developing compelling concepts and visual storytelling to create high-performing, scalable campaigns that drive strong engagement metrics (CTR, CVR, etc.).
  • Experience managing and scaling creative teams of 6-10 people, including inhouse designers, and a strong network of photographers, videographers, content creators, and media partners to execute performance-driven campaigns.
  • Experience in creating and implementing creative strategies for product scaling, including market research, visual concept development, idea amplification, multi-channel placement, and running tight, well-planned production schedules.
  • Problem solver with high ownership and a strong ability to identify opportunities, create alignment, implement solutions, and use data/feedback to continuously improve performance.
  • Previous experience in the health, beauty, and wellness space in direct response/DTC is preferred but not required for success in this role.
