Head of Cyber and Technology Risk

Client - A leading international financial institution with a strong presence globally, this innovative bank specialises in corporate, commercial, and retail banking.

EBC is currently supporting this innovative bank on a leadership hire in this space of Technology and Cyber Risk:

Reporting to the Global Head of Technology Risk, this role acts as the key risk advisor for the portfolio, providing expert guidance on risk assessment, mitigation, and regulatory compliance. The position involves monitoring risk indicators, challenging business decisions to ensure adherence to policies, and approving key risk-related actions.

• The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in financial services, with strong expertise in cyber risk management, regulatory frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to simplify complex risk issues for diverse audiences. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to risk oversight.
• Superior analytical skills, a proven ability to think clearly and rigorously about how best to assess existing and emerging risks and readiness and resolving inherent challenges.
• Proven history of risk identification and developing actions to mitigate as well as managing stakeholder resolution in risk associated scenarios.
