Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and regulatory risks, providing strategic guidance to senior management on emerging issues.
3. Policy Development: Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they align with evolving legal and regulatory standards.
4. Training and Awareness: Foster a culture of compliance through regular training programs and awareness initiatives for employees at all levels.
5. Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and manage systems for monitoring compliance activities and regulatory changes, and prepare detailed reports for regulators, internal committees, and the board.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background: A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Extensive experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management, preferably within the financial services sector.
3. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex regulatory challenges across multiple jurisdictions.
