About the Role

As the Head of Communications and Impact Development, you will be in charge of crafting and sharing our organisation’s story, driving engagement with stakeholders, partners, and funders. Working closely with the Council’s Communication and Partnership Advisory and Fundraising Committees, you will develop and execute innovative strategies—both online and offline—that amplify awareness, foster collaboration, and secure resources to advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Digital Content Creation and Management
    • Develop and oversee the production of compelling content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and the website that effectively communicates our mission and impact.
    • Ensure tone, branding, and messaging consistency across all digital channels.
  2. Online Community Engagement and Growth
    • Build and nurture an engaged online community by managing social media platforms and fostering meaningful interactions with followers.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive digital experience for all stakeholders.
  3. Performance Analysis and Optimization
    • Track and analyse digital engagement metrics to evaluate campaign performance.
    • Identify trends and insights to inform and optimise future strategies for more significant impact.
  4. Fundraising Campaign Design and Execution
    • Collaborate with the fundraising team to conceptualise and implement effective online and offline campaigns.
    • Leverage digital channels, including social media and email, to achieve fundraising targets.
  5. Stakeholder and Partnership Engagement
    • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with nonprofits, corporations, educational institutions, and other relevant entities to expand funding opportunities and collaboration efforts.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Impact, related fields, or any discipline complemented by relevant professional certifications.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in communications, fundraising, or marketing.
  • Proven track record in scaling digital marketing and fundraising campaigns, demonstrating measurable results.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and content creation skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and evaluate impactful fundraising initiatives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools such as social media platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools to optimise campaigns.
  • Experienced in project management, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of multi-faceted initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders and establish enduring partnerships.
  • A deep commitment to driving positive societal change through innovative communication strategies and community engagement.
  • Proven expertise in building and sustaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), corporations, and educational institutions, to foster collaboration and secure funding opportunities.
