Job description

The Head of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our healthcare solutions. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate client needs into comprehensive solutions. The candidate will be responsible for shaping the direction of our managed care services and fostering strong, long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development:
  • Develop, implement, and drive the business development strategy for managed care services to achieve growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and stay updated on industry trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and develop targeted outreach strategies.
  • Value Proposition and Service Articulation:
  • Clearly articulate and communicate compelling value propositions around our primary and allied care services.
  • Customize presentations and proposals to address client-specific challenges and demonstrate the benefits of our offerings.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding in all client-facing materials.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Nurture and grow relationships with potential leads and existing clients to maintain a strong client pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Growth and Expansion Initiatives:
  • Lead innovative initiatives and develop strategies to expand our business through new activities, targeted campaigns, and tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that resonate with potential clients and enhance brand visibility.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine business development processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical teams, operations, and marketing, to align business development strategies with organisational goals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution of projects and seamless client experiences.
  • Effective Team Management:
  • Lead and inspire the business development team to achieve collective and individual performance goals.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing, motivated, and resilient team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages open communication and innovation.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:
  • Be customer-centric by actively listening to client needs and delivering value-added initiatives that strengthen client relationships and ensure long-term retention.
  • Develop client feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
  • Lead Conversion and Sales Optimization:
  • Develop and execute strategies to convert sales leads generated through alternative channels, such as government tenders, national workplace wellness programs, sector programs, and the High-Net-Worth (HNW) segment.
  • Track and analyse lead conversion metrics to continuously optimize strategies and improve success rates.
