About the Role

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Head for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join my client, a leading renewable energy private equity firm. The ideal candidate will take a strategic lead in managing and driving investment initiatives within the BESS sector, working closely with the CEO to shape and implement growth strategies.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage BESS investment strategies and initiatives.
2. Oversee the evaluation and analysis of investment opportunities in the BESS sector.
3. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and investors.
4. Drive the execution of investment plans and support the development of new projects.
5. Provide strategic guidance and insights into market trends, particularly in BESS.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to align investment strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

1. At least 10 years of experience in investment.
2. Strong hands-on experience in BESS investments.
3. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
4. Experience working in the Japan market is a strong advantage.
