About Company

Our client is a prominent finance shared services organisation in Singapore. They play an important role in optimizing the performance of the sector by providing top-level finance services through a robustly trained workforce and continuous investment into digital enablement and process improvements in transactional finance workflows. Due to expansion they are currently looking for a Head, Finance Operations. You will lead few Finance Shared Services streams and be part of the senior leadership team driving organizational development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Leadership & People Development: Lead and mentor various teams / streams within the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC), guaranteeing efficient operations and standardized processes across the complex ecosystem of the organisation.
• Process Improvement & Digitalisation: Collaborating with senior leadership as well as functional experts in identifying and driving process improvement and digitalisation initiatives aligned to organisation’s mandate to continuously improve and streamline workflow, optimising efficiency and deliverables.
• Finance Operations: Supervising the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, while maintaining accurate reporting to senior leadership.
• Resource Accounting: Establishing a fair and accountable cost recovery model that accurately reflects the use of resources, all operational costs, and capital investments.
• Policy & Governance: Creating and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Certification in Accountancy or Finance
• Minimum 15 years of working experience, with at least 8 years of leadership role, ideally in a Shared Services Environment
• Proficiency in SAP ERP system is a definite advantage
• Prior experience managing a large team (> 10 to 15)
• Prior achievements implementing process transformation, automation, and ERP solutions
