The Head/Director of Private Equity Fund Investment will be responsible for leading the Private Equity and Private Credit Funds investment strategy, with the objective of delivering strong long-term investment performance aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end fund investment activities, including manager selection, portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and risk management:
Define the private equity fund investment strategy and develop long-term goals for portfolio diversification, aligned with the firm’s overall investment objectives and risk tolerance.
Oversee the origination, evaluation, and due diligence process of fund investment opportunities.
Monitor the performance and risk exposure of the private equity fund portfolio.
Implement portfolio analytics tools and conduct performance attribution and benchmarking.
Drive the design of and implement the firm’s co-investment program, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to define strategy, structure processes, and evaluate opportunities.
Lead and mentor a team of private equity fund investment professionals across various seniority levels.
Report regularly to the Head of Investment and investment committee on portfolio performance, market conditions, and investment outlook.
Degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent. A master's degree in these disciplines or CFA qualification will be an advantage.
At least 12 years of relevant working experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. Experience in covering North American and European markets will be an advantage.
Deep understanding of private equity and private credit fund structures, with expertise in designing and managing private markets allocation strategies within a broader multi-asset portfolio.
Strong knowledge and skills in fund manager due diligence (qualitative and quantitative), and familiarity with buy-side LP decision frameworks.
Good business and investment acumen, with awareness in global markets, economy, and geopolitical developments.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal qualities, with high ethical and professional standards.
