Overview of job

EssenceMediacom is seeking an experienced digital professional for the role of Manager, which is mainly focused on digital. As a Manager, you will be the key point of contact between clients and local EssenceMediaCom team, ensuring excellences on planning/executions and real time visibility on all activities across the region and local markets. You will be custodian of deliveries’ quality and timing, cascading all Global / Regional requests in a timely fashion and driving successful outcomes in partnership with the Local Team.

About the role / Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  1. Completion of Media Plans, Performance Reports, and Post-Campaign Analysis as directed by the Associate Director or Senior Director, across all digital inventory (from search to video) for the campaigns within their scope.
  2. Responsible for expressing the strategic rationale behind media investment decisions and evidencing the performance vs. expected outcomes.
  3. Development of multiple case studies of strategically interesting work throughout the course of the year to be leveraged in internal training/on-boarding as well as in new business.
  4. Accountable for the completion of and adherence to Campaign Analysts Plans.
  5. Responsible for the quality of reporting and insights within assigned campaigns.
  6. Host client meetings and sync-ups.
  7. Contributes content to and present at Media Planning Milestone Meetings such as tactical presentations and post campaign analysis.
  8. Deliver quarterly, semi-annual, or annual updates on work quality as it relates to workstreams (Half or Quarterly business review, Learning Agenda, Platform Evaluations).
  9. Identify new vendors/partners while maintaining a POV on them.
  10. Drives how syndicated and first party data is used within the campaign lifecycle.
  11. Support global alignment and collaboration at the Client’s Pod level.
  12. Ensure successful onboarding of new Essentials by creating onboarding plans (if needed).

About yourself / Requirements:

  1. At least 4-6 years’ experience in the Digital Media or Advertising field.
  2. Solid understanding of media concepts/terms, creative and budget requirements.
  3. Solid grasp of digital marketing, especially a deep knowledge of digital media.
  4. Ability to forecast outcomes of DR campaigns and manage spend well.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills including the desire to progress.
  6. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
  7. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.
  8. Work Independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  9. Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills including automated formulas, pivot tables, graphs and charts.
  10. Able to handle direct client relationships and communicate effectively to external stakeholders.

Bonus:

  1. Familiar with or have worked in the B2C industry.
  2. Able to work in an environment that requires initiative and being a self starter.
  3. Experience with Media Research Tools (Comscore, GWI, TGI, YouGov) & Platform activation experience/knowledge.
