Group Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the General Manager of the business, this Group Finance Manager will be leading the financial management, ensuring accuracy in the Finance team's work and providing strategic advice on the organization's financial health. The role focuses on implementing best practices to manage risks, achieve business goals, and enhance quality, compliance, and efficiency in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee financial accounting and corporate reporting functions, including the management of accounting policies and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and forecasts.
2. Analyze financial performance, develop suitable accounting policies, and monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations.
3. Provide strategic financial leadership and apply professional judgment to financial statements.
4. Manage taxation functions, including the calculation of taxable income, tax liabilities, and resolving tax-related issues.
5. Support management with financial analysis for business decisions and strategic planning initiatives.
6. Lead the budgeting process and enhance accounting systems for efficient reporting.
7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of internal and external audits.
8. Handle other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance, with additional finance certifications or qualifications preferred.
2. Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the manufacturing or retail sectors, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
3. Possesses strong analytical skills and effective stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to perform well in a dynamic and demanding environment.
