Group Chief Operating Officer for ICT & Financial Group

Job Description

As regional head of ICT & Financial Group, you will contribute to the expansion of ICT & Financial related business (IT service/BPO/Healthcare/Mobile/Content/Satellite/Venture Capital/Auto loan/Consumer finance/Insurance, etc) by managing GMs and their staff in ITOCHU's regional offices located in Asia & Oceania.

Your role will include enhancing communication between each country and Japan, contributing to business expansion, and governing the whole business within the region.

You will be responsible for building the ICT & Financial groups' mid to long-term growth strategy within the region, and monitoring and following each branch to ensure alignment with this strategy.

Job Requirements

1. Building clear, consistent, and sustainable strategies in the ICT & Financial business segment.
2. Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to convey information and ideas clearly in both written and verbal means to Management, Group staff, Clients, and Vendors in the Asia & Oceania Bloc.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain good relationships with Management, Superiors, Subordinates, and local/overseas counterparts.
4. Excellent ability to converse in business Japanese to liaise with Japanese counterparts in the region and Japan HQ (holding at least JLPT N1 level).
5. Challenging, open-minded, sensitive, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
6. Proactively propose new solutions while staying updated on the latest market trends and business environment.
7. Problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and define problems, extract key information from clients/vendors, verify the cause of problems, and develop feasible solutions.
8. Capability of coaching and motivating Group staff for better performance and contributions.
9. Basic understanding of Accounting, Legal, M&A, and knowledge of ICT & Financial business (IT service/BPO/Healthcare/Mobile/Content/Satellite/Venture Capital/Auto loan/Consumer finance/Insurance, etc).
