Group Assistant Finance Manager (Consolidation)

My client has a strong global presence and is one of the largest marine logistic carriers in the world. Owners of a large fleet of vessels, the company provides logistic support at major ports around the world. The Group Assistant Finance Manager position will play a critical role in supporting full spectrum finance activities, consolidating for all entities at global HQ level.

Description

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be:

• Responsible for the consolidation of financial statements across five entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, including group-level reporting.
• Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and liaise with auditors on financial reporting matters.
• Collaborate with finance teams across different business units to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in process improvements and system enhancements to drive automation and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Experience in MNCs or large corporations handling multi-entity consolidation.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
• Confident to engage with C-Suite leaders, present financial insights at board meetings.
