Group Account Director, Industrial

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop short and long-term strategies for every account and ensure alignment with Group Account Executive Strategy.
  2. Ensure Account Managers develop Account Plans for their respective Accounts and meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract.
  3. Procurement and Vendor Management:
    • Evaluate vendor procurement and management practices of various Accounts, ensuring compliance with Client or JLL procurement guidelines.
    • Benchmark services across similar properties within the country.
    • Coordinate and monitor the contractor management program.
    • Ensure only JLL/Client approved vendors provide on-site services, and their performance is monitored.
  4. Facilities Operations:
    • Ensure every Account Manager & Site Lead understands the contract, Account Plan, and KPI.
    • Ensure all staff are trained on their job responsibilities and understand their SOPs.
    • Implement building procedures and performance measures for accuracy and reliability.
    • Ensure all Accounts comply with JLL/Client Environment, Health & Safety standards.
    • Accountable for training Account Leads and aligning with Operations procedures.
    • Identify new value initiatives to assist clients in achieving corporate goals.
    • Ensure compliance with all internal management systems and quality assurance standards.
    • Implement a comprehensive energy management program.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory local laws and guidelines.
    • Complete all Financial Management requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Talent Management:
    • Create a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional client results.
    • Critically analyze account managers’ performance and build actionable development plans.
    • Manage Account Manager rotations to avoid client disruption.
    • Network with diverse external candidates to improve workforce talent.
  6. Nurture & Develop Great Teams:
    • Personal leadership that inspires trust and adapts.
    • Passion for coaching and developing managers into exceptional leaders.
  7. Risk Management:
    • Assist in implementing a Facilities/Property risk management program.
    • Ensure critical facilities risk assessments are regularly reviewed.
    • Develop strategies to protect health and safety of staff and others.
    • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  8. Project Management:
    • Experience in Project management and tools.
    • Manage clients through design development requirements.
  9. Profitability Initiatives:
    • Develop initiatives leading to cost savings and improve JLL profitability.
    • Identify ways to improve organic growth in accounts.
  10. Customer Service / Client Relationships:
    • Establish service response times on all accounts and analyze client service request trends.
    • Develop and manage client/business unit relationships.
  11. Reporting:
    • Ensure monthly reports and quarterly Business reviews are completed as per contractual agreement.
    • Track trends and analyze areas of improvement.
  12. Finance Report:
    • Review monthly financial reports and ensure financial tracking systems are developed.
    • Accountable for training in budget management for Account Managers and Site Leads.
  13. Training:
    • Ensure the team is well-trained in all facilities' policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Assign buddies for new team members to ensure teamwork and consistency.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Refer to the Individual Performance Agreement (IPMP) for Key Performance Measures.
  • Ensure the KPI Targets for the Account are met.
