Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Graphic Designer/Marketing Executive to support all areas of our brand. This is a vital role that will oversee all design and creative vision of different channels, including but not limited to social media, website, and print.

We are looking for a team player who will be working in the marketing department to create design for our marketing/events campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who has skills in graphic designing and print experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Report to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing to produce all collateral and final design.
  2. As a brand custodian: Have an excellent ability to design for the brand, but also possess an aesthetic sense that will push boundaries so that designs always have an edge.
  3. Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources such as brand assets and visual assets, which are required for record keeping and referencing.
  4. Ensure all collateral and content is on-brand across all platforms.
  5. Have a good understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  6. Work well and closely with team members across multiple departments.
  7. Support digital initiatives by designing key communications for social media, eDMs, website, etc.
  8. Be comfortable assisting with simple tasks like image resizes, all the way up to brainstorming key visuals for campaigns and ideation on visual style.
  9. Ability to work on multiple projects without compromising on timelines.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Design or related fields.
  3. High sense of design sensibility to take ideas and execute with finesse.
  4. Great multitasker.
  5. Reliable, focused and detail oriented (it’s all in the details!).
  6. A positive learning attitude.
  7. Able to receive constructive criticism.
  8. Good at taking feedback: takes feedback, uses it as a learning opportunity and applies it to their next project—big or small.
  9. Open-minded towards other ideas and opinions.
  10. Keen awareness for all things creative, understanding the creative process, trends, and industry.
  11. Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.
  12. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  13. A strong sense of graphic design fundamentals. Capable of keeping up with current trends.
  14. Highly conceptual thinking skills, enjoy brainstorming and developing ideas through to completion.
  15. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite especially in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  16. Other knowledge of relevant technical tools like Adobe Creative Suite (XD & Premier).
