SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer should possess a high level of proficiency in conceptualizing, producing and executing creative assets that align with the Company’s brand direction. These assets are required for online and offline efforts aimed at marketing the family of brands (PS.Cafe, Chopsuey Cafe and Jypsy). This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualize and design visually appealing and brand-consistent marketing materials for online and offline touchpoints, ensuring effective communication of the objectives outlined in the creative brief.
Work closely with our marketing team to develop campaign ideas and design collaterals including website elements, digital ads for online channels, email campaigns, in-store touchpoints and other marketing materials.
Create on-brand graphics, illustrations and visual elements for required touchpoints including retail packaging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
Provide support to internal stakeholders to understand their specific requirements and provide design recommendations and creative solutions.
Maintain design consistency in elements, typography and other colour schemes across all marketing materials.
Adapt and optimize designs for various communication platforms, including addressing the requirements from landlords in shopping malls.
Stay abreast of design trends, tools and technologies to consistently enhance the quality of our visual content.
Create graphic content and oversee the organization and upkeep of the image library. Ensure proper documentation and systematic archival of all artwork files.
Proficiency in basic photography and videography skills required.
Develop multimedia content including but not limited to videos, animations and reels.
Act as the custodian of the company’s brand guide.
Handle any additional duties or projects assigned by the superior or senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
Hold a Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Demonstrate a track record as a Creative Designer or Graphic Designer with at least 3 years’ experience
Proficient in using design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles is preferred
Possess a strong understanding of typography and colour theory
Display a detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Capable of working efficiently within tight timelines and in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English
Provide a portfolio as a reference showcasing design capabilities
