This is a full-time grant-funded position with an end date of 9/30/2025.

The Mission of the Denver District Attorney's Office is to professionally and competently prosecute crimes and investigate criminal activity on behalf of the people of the State of Colorado and to seek equal justice for all in the criminal justice system.

What We Offer

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The full pay range salary for this position is $58,000-$65,000 based on your experience and education. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but is not limited to:

Location

This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St, Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

What You’ll Do
The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) 2022 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Grant awarded to the Denver District Attorney’s Office (DDA) and the Asian Pacific Development Center (APDC). The Grant Coordinator will work closely with the DATA Director at DDA and Victim Assistance Director at APDC to manage the grant and ensure grant objectives and deliverables are met.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Grant Management:
    ○ Provide budget management and oversight
    ○ Submission of grant reports
    ○ Set deadlines and ensure grant deliverables are met
    ○ Subaward management
    ○ Oversight of grant-funded positions
  2. Program Evaluation and Data Collection:
    ○ Collect quarterly and semi-annual data from DATA partners & serve as the lead coordinator for grant reports and submissions
    ○ Lead monthly research & evaluation meetings
    ○ Work with research team to measure the effectiveness of program services and efficiency of processes
  3. Programmatic:
    ○ Provide project management for grant programmatic deliverables
    ○ Administrative support to DATA; assist with quarterly meetings, advisory committee meetings, and provide support to subcommittees as needed
    ○ Contribute to programmatic strategic planning
    ○ Facilitate trainings and contribute to developing new training presentations
    ○ Collaborate and engage with existing and new DATA Partners
    ○ Maintain confidentiality requirements for both agencies
    ○ Assist with other duties related to the work of the team, as needed
What You’ll Bring

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Communications, or a related field
  2. Demonstrated experience in human trafficking or related fields preferred
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills
  5. Excellent writing, research and analytical skills
  6. Experience with grant writing and reporting
  7. Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain relationships with a diverse group of partners
  8. Ability to work well under pressure
  9. Capable of handling multiple, shifting priorities
Required Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
  2. Experience Requirement: Five (5) years of technical or administrative experience performing standard research and evaluation, case management, and/or implementing work processes.
  3. Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of education may be substituted for each required year experience.
  4. License/Certifications: None
