[Gov Healthcare] Contract Prototyping Engineer [Translate Ideas to Outcomes] (Strong in CAD, Solidworks) Up 5K #HJC

Do note that this role is a contract role til 30 Sept 2026. However, this contract role comes with full perm staff benefits (AWS, Performance Based Gratuity Bonus and Salary Increment).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the translation of innovation ideas into impactful outcomes.
• Working closely with the team to source and develop new collaboration opportunities with partners, including early and late-stage innovation enterprises, as well as engaging various stakeholders such as research institutions, government agencies, and the venture capital community among other key players in the ecosystem.
• Providing engineering/technical support to the academic medical centre innovation project teams/innovators to translate ideas into functional prototypes and advance the technology readiness level of innovation projects.
• Supporting the experiential learning of healthcare innovators.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders in advancing the value proposition of programs/projects.
• Knowledge in technology ideation and healthcare technologies will be an advantage.
• Resourceful, attentive to detail with good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• We will only accept candidates who have an Engineering degree as they will need to have experience in CAD, SOLIDWORKS, and Prototyping.
