[GOV] 6 Months Contract Snr Executive, Learning & Development / Training #HJC

Responsibilities:

• Support the Sustainability Department in setting up engagement of stakeholders to advance sustainability outcomes. Example of stakeholders ranges from built environment professionals.

• Coordinate bank’s group wide carbon abatement from tracking initiatives to aligning carbon offsets approach.

• Contribute to the incorporation of sustainability design features into new development projects.

• Conduct environmental scan of trends related to sustainable real estate management and make proposals for adaptation into policies.

• Assist in the implementation of circularity or resource management plans.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Sustainable Built Environment, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies or fields relevant to the responsibilities listed above.

• Strong understanding of Sustainable Building Design principles, Sustainable Development approaches and Energy and Carbon Abatement.

• Familiar with event organization and have a passion for translating data, insights and knowledge into outcomes for the environment.

• Hands-on experience with carbon footprinting and energy tabulation.

• Familiar with Greenhouse Gas Protocol and relevant sustainability standards.
