ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Supplier Identification and Management
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers from global markets to meet business needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
• Continuously monitor the supplier landscape to ensure competitiveness and innovation.
• Develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. - Cost Optimization and Negotiation
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for materials or services.
• Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to optimize costs and achieve cost reduction targets without compromising on quality.
• Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives such as strategic sourcing, alternate supplier selection, and process improvements. - Quality Assurance and Risk Management
• Ensure that sourced materials meet quality standards and specifications required by the company.
• Collaborate with quality teams to perform supplier audits, inspections, and certifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Mitigate risks by proactively addressing supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, and changes in market conditions. - Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to understand technical specifications, quality standards, and sourcing requirements.
• Serve as the key point of contact between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
• Provide technical support and feedback to engineering teams regarding material choices, supplier capabilities, and cost considerations.
SKILLSET(S) REQUIREMENT
Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and relationship management abilities, and a keen eye for market trends. Ability to work with suppliers from different countries and cultures.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferably with minimum of 3 – 5 Years of working experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in manufacturing industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or any other related field of study.
