2. Cost Optimization and Negotiation
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for materials or services.
Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to optimize costs and achieve cost reduction targets without compromising on quality.
Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives such as strategic sourcing, alternate supplier selection, and process improvements.
3. Quality Assurance and Risk Management
Ensure that sourced materials meet quality standards and specifications required by the company.
Collaborate with quality teams to perform supplier audits, inspections, and certifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Mitigate risks by proactively addressing supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, and changes in market conditions.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to understand technical specifications, quality standards, and sourcing requirements.
Serve as the key point of contact between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
Provide technical support and feedback to engineering teams regarding material choices, supplier capabilities, and cost considerations.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferably with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of working experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in the manufacturing industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and/or any other related field of study.
