Job description

As a Business & Solutions Development Support, your primary responsibility is to assist the Business & Solutions Development Manager in driving sales, revenue, and gross profit across various sales channels. You will collaborate with key stakeholders within the road and sales organization to develop and enhance our road logistics offerings, solutions, and services.

Your Role

Assist in driving sales, revenue, and gross profit across sales channels by collaborating with stakeholders, leading regional bids, monitoring pipeline development, and supporting promotional and sales initiatives in the road logistics sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Business & Solutions Development Manager in driving sales, revenue, and gross profit across the sales channels.
  • Collaborate with various key stakeholders within the road and sales organization.
  • Assist in the development of our road logistics offerings, solutions, and services.
  • Drive opportunities and take lead on regional bids by working alongside the team, including proposal analysis, network assessment, and solution development.
  • Monitor pipeline development, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of sales reporting.
  • Support promotional, marketing, and communication activities related to road logistics.
  • Engage in various sales-related activities and initiatives within road logistics to drive growth.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on tender management and business development.
  • Experience in the road logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to collect and analyze data from various countries to drive competitiveness and provide the best proposals to customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration, promotional activities, and drafting messages for advertising.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
