The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for Global Marketing Projects Lead – Betadine/Wound & Mega Brand to join our innovation team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Executive Director - Portfolio Strategy & Innovation, core focus of the role includes:

  • Driving URT & wound category leadership
  • Building Betadine into a global ‘mega’ brand

Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators

  • Evolve the current brand playbook for Betadine Mega-brand and wound care range to ensure relevance to today’s consumer and new market opportunities creating future brand value. This includes:
  • Evolving Betadine brand footprint/house and brand distinguishable assets (DBA’s).
  • Create Betadine wound category portfolio architecture with branding and sub-branding framework with market archetype/clusters.
  • Framework for Betadine mega-brand architecture – capturing current categories (Throat, Fem & Wound) and scoping future adjacencies
  • Evolve Betadine’s Visual brand identity and guidelines - one time evolution testing in key markets, creation and roll out. This includes being a Consult as per the RACI on how markets adapt and apply guidelines, DBA’s ATL/(major only) BTL
  • Oversight of the Betadine Nexus Evolution pack design migration program across markets to ensure efficient transition.
  • Development of price positioning strategy for variants within the wound portfolio
  • Input into the Betadine global brand scorecard as a measure of global brand evolution and success including ongoing updates with internal stakeholders
  • Partner internal teams to drive Betadine wound global claims strategy and 5-year claims program. This encompasses existing, new claims and supporting markets with execution of claims innovation.
  • Drive with internal teams the exploration and identification of sizable new areas to unlock further growth and value, including (but not limited to), identifying:
  • Identifying new users to target
  • New usage occasions
  • New indications
  • New segment adjacencies
  • Champion knowledge and best practice sharing for the Betadine Mega-brand and Betadine Wound including:
  • Creating a central repository for all Betadine brand assets, history, campaigns, insights, etc.) for easy access, search and utility globally
  • Develop and facilitate a central coordinated approach to identifying and sharing best practice regularly to enable efficient transfer of knowledge and success mechanisms/models.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related commercial field
  • 10-15 years experience across global, regional and local marketing roles in consumer healthcare industry
  • Strong expertise/capability, experience and track record in building strong brands, brand equity management, innovation (product and claims), relevant consumer healthcare categories (URT/wound or related ideally)
  • Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders, working with different cultures and across different levels of experience within the organisation to drive outcomes
  • Can-do attitude with agility and adaptability to work through ambiguous situations at pace
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver in full, on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to align and inspire teams
  • Foster collaboration and learning across the organisation, inspiring teams, driving engagement, enabling excellence in execution.

Additional Requirements / Working Conditions
Occasional work travel to key markets.
