Role Overview

This is a newly established position within the services sector, reflecting a shift from region-specific teams to globally integrated service lines. The Head of Commercial Operations will play a pivotal role in defining and leading the strategic and operational transformation of a core service line globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment across the company global network.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for FY2025 and beyond.
  3. Establish, monitor, and analyse KPIs, implementing systems to track accountability, compliance, quality, and operational efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategies and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  5. Drive transformation and standardisation of processes, implement automation, and cultivate a unified "one global team" culture.
  6. Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction through proactive frameworks and streamlined operations.
  7. Promote cross-functional collaboration between product, practice, and market teams.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader who embodies operational excellence, a proven track record in large scale transformation and a deep understanding of financial operations.

Ideal Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 20+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally as a COO or operations leader with expertise in finance. Experience with large scale, multi-geographical transformation is essential.
  2. Education: Chartered Accountant or CFA required. MBA preferred, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) being highly advantageous.
  3. Global Expertise: Extensive experience working in international markets, particularly in fast-paced, transformative environments.
  4. Industry Alignment: Experience in the services industry is highly valued.
  5. Leadership Style: Proven ability to inspire and drive change, coupled with expertise in strategic vision, financial operations, and talent development.
