Global Internal Auditor (Data Analytics)

The Role: Global Internal Auditor (Data Analytics)
What will you do?
To support internal audit missions in:
- Query and leverage data sources such as ERPs, SAP, Concur, etc. within Schneider Electric
- Support Auditors in identifying areas where performance can be improved
- Optimize and improve audit Scoping, Sampling or other Testing methods
- Measure how operational risks are monitored and mitigated
- Leverage Group tools & databases to deliver analytical insights on compliance or business risks
- Drive project on data extraction to ensure smooth access to all relevant internal systems
- Maintain & improve scripts to ensure their reliability & effectiveness
- Understand business processes, the IT environment / landscape, how SE entities are using it, as well as business impacts of system configurations
- Measure vulnerabilities in Group systems to mitigate fraud risks or potential capital losses
- Train teams and auditees to allow autonomous access to standard analyses
- Suggest additional analytics in various domains (finance, purchasing, HR, Sales & Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, etc) to be included in missions
- Suggest innovative visualizations of results
As business auditor:
- Scope the Internal Audit (IA) Mission
- Manage the IA Mission and the relationship with the auditees
- Organize fieldworks
- Conduct interviews, testing, data analysis in order to identify root causes, assess efficiency and effectiveness
- Propose recommendations to achieve compliance, improve efficiency and/or add value to the business
- Present recommendations to local management and Senior Management
- Deliver the final report and Executive Summary
- Follow-up with the auditees to ensure effective implementation of action plans in line with IA recommendations
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Accounting) / Master / MBA of top universities
- 6-10 years of experience primarily in Big 4 External Audit firms and potentially complemented by operational / financial role experience with strong data analytics background
- Able to travel approximately 40% of the time when situation allows
- Cross cultural work environment experience
