The Global Outsourced Operations Team is responsible for the coordination, manufacturing, planning, and delivery of Dyson products, refurbishment, spares, and accessories globally. This covers the engagement and interaction with product development teams through to the purchase of parts, products, relevant equipment, and tooling to ensure product quality, reliability, and output is achieved. The team is responsible for maintaining the quality standards of Dyson products daily.
The Head of Materials Management is responsible for end-to-end operations strategy and management of materials throughout the product lifecycle, responsible for the integration of materials management within production planning across finished goods, global spares, and global refurbishment operations.
You will develop and lead aggregation and segmentation, establishing process and management of roles and responsibilities with stakeholder management whilst building and leading end-to-end capability development of global material planners.
While optimising the flow of materials supplies and equipment from initial procurement to final disposition, you will fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and business operations. Management of internal stakeholders and cross-functional leaders along with external contract manufacturers and suppliers will ensure sustainable supply and deliver lean operational efficiency with managed exposure and write-off.

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management / Materials Management, with at least 15 years of working experience, including 5 years at a Senior Manager level.
APIC training and experience are advantageous, with a background in FMCG.
Strong leadership with excellent analytical skills and a good team player.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead and motivate others not in direct line of responsibility.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
