Global Head of Compliance (Payments)

This is a global role and the successful candidate's primary focus will be to work with the compliance team to identify and effectively advise on compliance matters across a range of existing and new products in region. The ideal candidate will need to maintain a strong awareness of the impact of regulation on commercial viability and technological innovation.

Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Global Head of Compliance will be involved in the following:

• Responsible for building a comprehensive compliance and anti-money laundering management system for various licensed entities and business lines of the cross-border payment company.
• Manage relationships with regulators and partners, and handle queries, clarifications, and address concerns arising from AML and compliance activities.
• Monitor new services and product launches to ensure compliance with existing legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Create regular regulatory performance reports for the company, such as recommendations on strategy.

Profile

To qualify, the potential Global Head of Compliance should meet the following criteria:

• At least 10 years of compliance experience within cross-border payments or FinTech industry.
• Strong knowledge about payment services and cross border payments.
• Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills.
