Strategic Planning & Business Expansion - Develop and execute the strategic roadmap and annual business objectives for international operations (with a short-term focus on APAC and the Middle East), driving the global expansion of the Chinese apparel brand. - Lead market entry strategies, including site selection for own retail stores, localization of operations, and profitability model development.
APAC & Middle East Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Operations Management - Oversee end-to-end operations of own retail stores in the region, including sales performance, SOP optimization, inventory turnover improvement, and customer experience enhancement. - Establish a data-driven retail management system to monitor store KPIs (sales per square foot, staff efficiency, repeat purchase rate, etc.), and implement corrective actions. - Design localized marketing strategies in collaboration with HQ and regional teams to boost brand awareness and market share.
Overseas Factory Management
Cross-Regional Collaboration - Work closely with HQ teams to integrate regional market insights into upstream processes. - Ensure compliance with local regulations (customs, taxation, labor laws) to mitigate operational risks.
Team Leadership - Build and mentor high-performing retail teams with a strong DTC mindset, implementing talent development and performance evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- 10+ years in international retail, with at least 5 years in a GM or senior leadership role. Must have proven DTC business model expertise (candidates with franchise/wholesale backgrounds will not be considered).
- Deep experience in APAC/Middle East markets, including successful 0-to-1 market entry cases. Strong understanding of local consumer behavior and retail regulations.
- Ideally Fluent in both English and Chinese to seamlessly liaise with global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in scaling fashion/apparel/luxury brands overseas.
- Ability to lead multicultural teams and frequent international travel (APAC/Middle East).
