Job Summary:

• You will be a key member to participate in international transportation contract negotiation with ocean liners and freight forwarding companies. You are required to also communicate effectively with internal sales, manufacturing companies and external service providers to set up agreements, SOPs, and all freight-related matters. In addition, KPI setting, data analysis, and market research are required in day-to-day operations.

Job Description:

• Participate in annual ocean and air freight negotiation
• Daily effective communication with internal and external parties
• Prepare monthly volume tonnage, KPI, and performance evaluation reports
• Shipping Market Analysis
• Provide operation solutions and cost-saving activities
• Expect to lead a team and not only provide supervisory functions but also transfer know-how to team members

Requirements:

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or MNC involved in logistics-related roles
• Experience and knowledge of shipping and logistics-related activities are essential
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to work under high pressure and meet tight timelines
• Mature, honest, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to travel and work at irregular hours (occasionally)
