Job description
Responsibilities
Manage crew planning, deployment, and compliance with maritime regulations.
Oversee emergency crew replacements and succession planning.
Ensure accuracy of seafarer appraisals, records, and certifications.
Control crew-related expenses and documentation.
Coordinate crew logistics, including travel, medicals, and visas.
Liaise with recruitment agencies and internal teams.
Oversee contract preparation, payroll verification, and compliance.
Drive process improvements in crew operations.
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Maritime Studies, HR, or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior crew management.
Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006, CBA, and Malaysian maritime laws.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and crew management software.
