GL Accounts Officer

To support the business units in operations from a financial perspective and produce accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring their roll-up to the consolidated financial reports for the Group are timely to meet regulatory requirements. This role will facilitate management in measuring group performance with the strategies implemented and allow management to implement proactive measures to ensure that profitability can continue to sustain and optimize its returns to shareholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the monthly management accounts closing for all the assigned companies.
• Prepare for the annual year-end audit.
• Prepare annual tax computation.
• Prepare for the annual budget exercise for investment and development companies.
• Prepare monthly Goods & Service Tax (GST) reports and analysis/computations for quarterly GST filing.
• Update monthly management reports, e.g., Investment & Development properties report and hotel performance report.
• Prepare financials for the Singapore Department of Statistics or any government authorities for statistical surveys.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional certification.
• 2 years and above of accounting experience for full set closing.
• Preferably with basic knowledge of the property industry.
• Good team player.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good analytical skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and stress.
