Job description
  • Develop and execute the company’s long-term development strategy, ensuring alignment with the group’s overall strategic objectives.
  • Lead the trading team, responsible for managing the trading book, overseeing PnL, develop and execute profitable strategies while managing market risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Drive the expansion of global oil trading and bonded marine fuel supply businesses centered in Singapore.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with shipowners, brokers, suppliers, and clients to establish a stable business network.
  • Supervise daily operations, optimize business processes to ensure efficient business operations, reduce costs, and increase profit margins.
  • Identify and assess various operational risks, formulating and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Ensure business operations comply with international trade rules and local laws and regulations, safeguarding the company’s benefits.
  • Supervise and manage the company’s finance, administration, and business departments to ensure compliance.
  • Represent the company in maintaining effective communication with group headquarters, government agencies, industry associations, and partners.
  • Collaborate among internal departments to ensure smooth information flow and effective resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, international trade, business administration, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in international oil trading, with a background in trading and team management at large or multinational oil and energy companies.
  • Experience in marketing, client development, and hedging for bonded marine fuel supply, with the ability to formulate international oil procurement plans and conduct inquiries, procurement, and hedging operations.
  • Familiarity with the entire process of ship fuel supply operations and international trade rules, with in-depth knowledge of Singapore’s legal policies and operational norms in different international markets.
  • Understanding of the Chinese market and the ability to coordinate global supply service networks.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting fluent business communication in both languages.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, coordination, teamwork, and stress management skills.
  • High professional ethics and dedication, with the ability to adapt to an international work environment.
