Job Description
Responsible for overseeing production, operations, quality control, supply chain management, and financial performance. The GM (Manufacturing Division) will drive efficiency, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and lead a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Operations & Leadership
    Develop and execute strategic planning of business segment to be in line with Group’s vision
    Responsible for overall profitability and operations of the business unit, including and not limited to revenue and cost management, production, procurement, warehousing and distribution management, people management, marketing and customer service management
    Analyse market trends and develop business plans to drive business expansion and growth
    Establish and maintain strong strategic business partner relationships (e.g. external clients and vendors)
    Identify and implement technology and procedures to improve work processes and uplift productivity level
    Identify and execute opportunities for new product development and market expansion
  2. Financial & P&L Management:
    Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies to maximize profitability
    Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  3. Quality and Standards
    Manage compliance with F&B hygiene policies and procedures
    Work closely with QA teams to maintain high product quality and in full compliance with food safety and occupational safety regulations (i.e. ISO22000, Halal Certification)
    Enforce and uphold hygiene and safety standards at the production floor
  4. Customer Service
    Strategize service operations processes
    Champion a service excellence ethos
  5. People Management
    Oversee all employees related matters including but not limited to talent management, performance management, training and development, compensation and disciplinary matters
    Work closely with HR team to drive employee engagement, training and retention strategies
    Ensure staffing levels align with production needs while managing overall labour costs effectively

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in senior leadership role with proven track records in managing P&L, optimizing operations and driving business growth
• Strong knowledge in food safety regulations and industry best practices
• Experience in lean manufacturing, process improvement and problem-solving skills
