General Manager, Internal Audit (Regional)

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute internal audits (Operation, Compliance, Financial etc.).
2. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
3. Assess the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
4. Review financial statements and financial risk with supporting documentation.
5. Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent activities or financial irregularities.
6. Review information security and general risk management (Politics, Accidents etc.).
7. Identify areas of risk and recommend solutions to mitigate risk and improve operations.
8. Prepare and present audit reports to the CEO and BOD members.
9. Collaborate with the Internal Audit department of HQ as a member of the Global Audit team.
10. Collaborate with external auditors during statutory audits.
11. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and remedial actions.
12. Strengthen the internal audit function and its processes.
13. Establish the audit committee.
14. Lead the internal audit team as the head of the function after new members join the team.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of conducting audits at a management level.
2. Experience in developing and executing audit plans and evaluating internal control systems.
3. Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and practices.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills based on mutual respect and understanding in a multi-national team.
5. Willingness to travel.
6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CA are preferred.
