This above role will work closely with the Head of International Finance to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
Provide financial insights, leveraging data analysis to support international business performance and growth.
Support the Head of International Finance in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
Oversee international financial operations, accounting, cashflow management and reporting.
Monitor financial KPIs and provide necessary updates to the Head of International Finance.
Ensure all financial activities comply with the relevant countries’ accounting regulations, tax requirements and corporate policies.
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with JGAAP, IFRS and relevant tax laws.
Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Act as the primary liaison between Head of International Finance and Japanese stakeholders.
Support interpretation and translation between Japanese and English for the Head of International Finance and Japanese Headquarters to ensure clear communication.
Promote best financial practices and sharing within the organization.
Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or equivalent
At least 10 to 12 years’ relevant work experience
Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly with advanced modules in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Possess native or business level proficiency in Japanese and English language (spoken & written)
Possess ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environment
