General Manager (Family Office)


My client is a well-established family office based in Singapore seeking to hire a General Manager to spearhead the Family Office. This leadership position combines the responsibilities of overseeing public relations (PR) efforts with administrative and operational management within an organization. The role requires balancing strategic communication, efficient administrative operations, effective communication with external and internal stakeholders, and the management of day-to-day administrative functions.


Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Chairman and other executives to coordinate and implement business strategies across an organization, in line with a company's business plan and objectives.
  • Ability to showcase leadership of cross-functional teams to address key business challenges.
  • Manage internal communications to ensure employees are informed and aligned with the company's values, objectives, and any significant company developments.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, conferences, and corporate engagements that require administrative and PR coordination.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in tasks such as office management, resource allocation, and personnel coordination.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to monitor the efficiency of operational processes and ensure quality control.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities, balancing the strategic and operational needs of both PR and administrative functions.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and navigate complex issues with professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Public relations, Communication, Business Administrativeor related field. CA/CPA or CFA and MBA is a plus.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in public relations or administrative leadership role, with a significant portion of that in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive, open attitude with flexibility to work on different projects under different timelines.
  • An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and self-starting individual contributor.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills, coupled with high integrity and proven history to perform high quality work.
