Job description

A leading global player in aviation aftermarket solutions is seeking a General Manager, APAC to spearhead regional leadership for its Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and parts distribution business. This is an exciting opportunity to drive sustainable growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and lead a diverse team in one of the most dynamic regions for aviation services.

About the Role

As General Manager, APAC, you will be accountable for delivering commercial success across the region’s MRO and parts distribution segment. Your leadership will be instrumental in building strategic relationships with airlines, MRO providers, and OEM partners, while optimising internal operations to meet the evolving demands of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional strategy for aviation MRO and parts distribution across Asia-Pacific.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop business plans to expand the customer base.
  • Build strong commercial partnerships with airlines, MRO facilities, OEMs, and key aviation stakeholders.
  • Guide a cross-functional team spanning Sales, Logistics, and Customer Support to deliver service excellence.
  • Oversee full-cycle sales and contract negotiations, ensuring long-term customer value.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity to inform business decisions.
  • Represent the company at key aviation events, trade shows, and client forums.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts and services.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in business leadership within the aviation MRO or parts distribution space.
  • Deep understanding of aviation aftermarket operations, supply chains, and customer needs.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Experience leading multicultural teams and delivering commercial results in the APAC region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders.
  • Financial literacy and operational experience in managing budgets and revenue targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
