Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Business Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
Set clear business goals, objectives, and KPIs, and monitor progress toward achieving them.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish long-term vision and operational plans.

Financial Management:
Oversee the financial operations of the cleaning company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure profitability through effective cost management, financial planning, and operational efficiency.
Analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, pricing strategies, and customer invoicing processes.
Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue generation.
3.
Operations and Efficiency Management:
Streamline business operations to ensure high efficiency and low operational costs.
Oversee day-to-day activities, including the coordination of cleaning teams, client assignments, and resource allocation.
Implement systems and technologies to improve service delivery, staff productivity, and client satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and staff to deliver high-quality services.
Implement training and development programs to build employee skills, improve productivity, and foster career growth.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer-focused excellence.
Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
5.
Client and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and continued business.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular reviews with clients to evaluate service performance, address feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and attract new clients.

Marketing and Business Development:
Work closely with the marketing team to create strategies that increase the company’s visibility and brand presence.
Develop pricing models, bids, and proposals to secure new contracts and clients.
Implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into long-term customers.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies as necessary.
7.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to cleaning operations, health and safety, and labor laws.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize business liabilities.
Oversee insurance and safety protocols to protect company assets and employees.
Qualifications:
Required:
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role, preferably within the cleaning, facilities management, or service industries.
Strong knowledge of business management principles, financial processes, and operations management.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
In-depth understanding of customer service and client relationship management.
Proficiency in using business management software, including financial tools, scheduling software, and CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field.
Previous experience in business development or marketing within a service-based company.
Familiarity with cleaning industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental sustainability practices.
Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee training programs.
