Buja is a Korean F&B group operating NAOH and ONMI in Singapore. Based on traditional Korean cuisine, Buja adds a modern touch to offer an innovative dining experience that transcends time.

Responsibilities

A chef from a Michelin 3-star restaurant in San Francisco is opening an authentic Korean cuisine restaurant in Singapore, located within an automotive manufacturing facility in Jurong. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to lead our team. If you have a passion for traditional Korean cuisine and the drive to deliver an exceptional dining experience, we welcome your application. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring top-tier service, operational efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, handle administrative duties, and uphold the restaurant's high standards.

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Lead and manage the service crew, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure exceptional service quality and promptly address guest concerns to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Oversee financial tasks such as payroll, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu, including seasonal changes and special offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 싱가포르 국적자 또는 한국인
  • F&B (특히 파인다이닝) 경력이 있으신 분
  • 영어랑 한국어가 유창하신분
  • 레스토랑 업계에서 총괄 매니저 또는 유사한 리더십 역할 경험 보유자
  • 강한 리더십과 팀을 동기부여하고 이끌어갈 수 있는 역량 보유자
  • 뛰어난 대인관계 및 의사소통 능력(구두 및 서면)
  • 빠르게 변화하는 환경에서 다중 업무 수행 가능
  • 우수한 조직력 및 문제 해결 능력
  • 고객 서비스 및 환대 산업에 대한 깊은 열정 보유자
  • 전통 한식에 대한 이해도 보유자 우대
  • Singaporean National or Korean
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken Korean and English
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A deep passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of traditional Korean cuisine is a plus.
