In this role, you’re expected to:
- Engage proactively with stakeholders in Singapore and the APAC region to support business and client trading in Markets products.
- Drive and implement sustainable processes, automation initiatives, and adherence to policies.
- Develop and maintain an effective control framework with Operations Control for Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements.
- Build standardized and sustainable operational workflows for APAC FXLM new product launches.
- Ensure robust infrastructure and tools are in place to manage risk and service clients effectively.
- Prepare and publish strong MIS information for Management Updates.
- Focus on digitization, automation, and eliminating manual processes.
- Support a People and Engagement strategy to attract and retain a diverse talent pool.
- Encourage continuous improvement and maintain a strong service and control environment.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Promote diversity and inclusion for a thriving work environment.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3-7+ years of experience in global financial institutions, especially with Foreign Exchange products.
- Strong risk management and control mindset.
- Awareness of best practices and a fresh perspective.
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, and results oriented.
- Ability to provide evaluative judgment in complex situations.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
- Ability to build trust with stakeholders as an advisor with client orientation.
