FUNDS/CORPORATE (3 - 4 PQE) (LONDON)

A new vacancy has arisen for a high calibre funds or corporate lawyer with 3 - 4 years' PQE to join the London office of this highly respected global offshore firm. Prior funds experience is not essential as training will be provided. Candidates will need to possess a strong academic record, be admitted in either the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada, and have gained their experience at a major national, international or offshore law firm.

The role will involve advising clients on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on the formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, restructuring and termination of different types of Cayman Islands investment vehicles, including hedge funds, hybrid funds and private equity funds. You will be advising a client base that comprises primarily of leading European alternative investment fund managers and their onshore counsel.

The role will in addition offer the opportunity to engage in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and taking part in initiatives to take advantage of opportunities for new work.
